This site was developed by the State of Louisiana to assist Road Home applicants in repairing and rebuilding their homes as we build - together - a safer, stronger, smarter Louisiana. The information, developed in conjunction with the LSU AgCenter and Tulane City Center, is designed to provide “one-stop shopping” for all of your rebuilding and remodeling information needs.
The Home Design and Construction site includes a registry of building industry professionals. This registry helps homeowners who are rebuilding or remodeling find qualified, licensed building professionals and contractors who work in their area. It allows homeowners to send information about their rebuilding and restoration projects to contractors and other professionals and provides a channel for building professionals to respond by sending their direct contact information to the homeowner.
This Web site was created for people who are rebuilding or restoring their homes following a hurricane. Though designed as a tool for participants in The Road Home program, it can be a valuable resource for anyone planning a building, restoration, renovation or remodeling project in Louisiana.
